Fishing Tournament

Saturday, April 20th 9am-3pm at Lake Kickapoo

Our 2019 Annual Crappie Fishing Tournament will be held at Lake Kickapoo in Archer County in support of the Lake Kickapoo Volunteer Fire Department. Please register using the form below or at the station between 8am and 9am the day of the event. Weigh in will begin at 2pm and end at 3pm at the Lake Kickapoo fire station.

Entry will be $25 per person for the main tournament top 5 fish.

Prizes will include 35% Cash payout for 1st place, and 15% for second place.

An additional and separate contest for the single “Biggest Fish” will be held along with the main tournament and those desiring to compete in the “Biggest Fish” segment can do so for an additional $5 per entrant. A 50% cash prize for the “Biggest Fish” will be awarded from and for those entering this separate event.

Fishing from shore will be permitted. All fish must be live at weigh in and have been caught during the tournament. Weigh in will begin at 2pm and will continue until all who are in line to be weighed in by 3pm have been weighed in. Weigh in will take place at the LKVFD station.

Breakfast burritos, sodas, and water will be available for sale at the station pre-event.

Please contact the Archer County Sheriff at (940) 574-2571 to notify them if you're performing a controlled burn when burn ban is not in effect.
